Turning Health Education Into Child's Play: Interactive Games to Enhance Instruction

DescriptionLooking to spice up your teaching without sacrificing quality? If so, this is a session you don’t want to miss! A focus of the session is to enable educators to utilize interactive games while ensuring standards-driven instruction and meaningful use of class time. Participants of this hands-on session will experience many dynamic teaching strategies designed to encourage active participation from students in the health education classroom. Each person will leave the session with many games that can be easily adapted for use in a variety of health content areas as well as an understanding of the value of interactive instruction.
