| Description | This 4-hour workshop will teach you how to conduct the AAPAR Adapted Aquatics Instructor Workshop. Prerequisites include: 1) Completing a Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics Application (can be found at www.aapar.org) including an essay and vita, and being accepted into the workshop. 2) Current AAPAR Adapted Aquatics Instructor credential or the YMCA Swimming instructor for individuals with disabilities certification. 3) Current CPR/First aid certificates/AED. Final exam for the Master Teacher of Adapted Aquatics will be given upon completion of workshop. 80% must be achieved to become a Master Teacher. |
