| Description | This presentation will describe the stages of progression in the life of a Department Chair and/or Wellness Director. A theoretical model based on using the Precede-Proceed Model (Green & Kreuter) to analyze the social structure of the department will be discussed. Future and current Chairs/Directors in Physical Education and/or Wellness from high school through universities will leave with some creative and practical ideas. The presenter has had many years experience as Chair and/or Director in three states: Iowa, New Mexico and Wisconsin at a variety of levels (High School, Community College and at two Universities. Audience participation will be welcomed. |
