| Description | This interactive workshop will allow participants to explore challenges faced by transgender and gender nonconforming youth in sport. Come listen and learn about appropriate language, the need for competition regulations, access to inclusive facilities, and other critical issues. Then contribute by brainstorming how community-based organizations, secondary schools, and colleges/universities can develop best practices and guidelines on gender equity for transgender and gender nonconforming athletes. |
