Eta Sigma Gamma: Perception, Technology and Social Change
StructureAmerican Association for Health Education
DescriptionWhat role has technology played in shaping our current lives, institutions, culture and professional practice? In 1973 Drs. Charles Kaiser and Robert Gold wrote a paper predicting the long term consequences of increasing changes in technology. Thirty-four years later, most of the predicted outcomes have been borne out. What will happen from here? This is an examination of "futures" based events dating to pre-history. Join us for a six millenium look at technology and its influences. Sponsored by Eta Sigma Gamma.
