# 469A Commercial Presentation: Benjamin Cummings: The Use of an E-Book and MyHealthLab to Deliver a Personal Health Course
Structure | ||
Description | Starting in Fall, 2005 students enrolled in HED 101 Human Health, a 2 credit personal health course at Southern Illinois University, were required to purchase their textbooks via a CDROM (e-book) or through the Benjamin Cumming's MyHealthLab Website. Besides substantial savings, students had access to a variety of videos, audios, interactive assignments, and their grades. Presenters will share their experiences on the requiring of an e-book in lieu of the traditional paper text, while also discussing the role of MyHealthLab in the delivering of a personal health course. Examples of individual presentations uploaded to the system will be shown.
