College students preparing to be health or physical education teachers or faculty members preparing teacher candidates, this session is for you! Over half of the United States now requires the edTPA (Education Teacher Performance Assessment) for teacher candidates. This session will give you critical elements of the edTPA for health and physical educators. Suggestions for teacher preparation and ways the edTPA can lead to program improvement will be included.
