This session is intended to provide specific guidelines that identify coaching practices that are in the best interests of the adolescent female athlete (appropriate) and those that are counterproductive or even harmful (inappropriate) to the development of the adolescent female athlete. Participants will be given a list of these appropriate and inappropriate practices. These guidelines can be used as a self-assessment for coaches as they compare their own coaching techniques and practices. (CEU)
