Coaches shouting instructions at a player is common during practice, but does it improve learning? Research has suggested that the design of activities using constraints, can positively influence behavior and decision-making without extensive instructions on how to perform. This approach allows players to think, problem solve and understand the concept of the activity as they play. This session will explain how the constraints-led approach can be used to create effective activities for a several sports. (CEU)
