Twenty-first century learners must be critical thinkers, problem solvers, effective communicators, and responsible productive citizens. In this session participants will explore how health education can provide a relevant and meaningful context for the development of these skills. This interactive session will allow participants to compare and contrast 21st century-based health education standards with Common Core Standards in English Language Arts and Math and evaluate the alignment of assessments designed to simultaneously evaluate the standards.
