The Health Education Assessment Project (HEAP) has been the leading force in helping states and school districts align standards-based curriculum, instruction and assessment designed to improve student health literacy. In this workshop, participants will explore HEAP resources that have been donated to the public domain and technologies that are available to educators who teach, supervise, and provide professional development in health education and to researchers who examine health literacy in school age youth. Computers are not provided/required for this session, but attendees may bring their own devices (wireless internet available for $12.95). (CEU) (CHES)
