Comprehensive preparedness for a summer sport camp program includes addressing management and administrative health care topics, which serve to promote camp participant safety and decrease liability risks. Health care professionals should be on-site and understand their scope of practice. Written policies, procedures, and protocols serve to guide best practices and eliminate confusion.
