With more than 50 million American youth involved in sport, it is important to realize that character and sport have a symbiotic relationship in society. True sport imparts valuable life skills and experiences. This program discusses the effects of evidenced-based curricula on character development, self-regulated learning, and knowledge of good decision-making to achieve positive life lessons learned through true sport. Participants will learn strategies to infuse the curriculum district-wide into the K-12 curriculum. (CEU)
