Project-based learning taps into a student’s interests and creativity as well as their natural and intrinsic motivation because they prefer to learn through collaboration rather than lecture and assessment. Interestingly, PBL meets more CCSS and 21st century skills than strict assessment does. PBL also improves social and emotional skills, which are vital to success in and outside of school. This presentation provides several PBL lessons covering essential health issues during the teen years. (CEU) (CHES)
