324 Let's Go Play: How to Increase Physical Activity at Recess

This workshop gives participants the knowledge and techniques to help increase the physical activity levels of elementary school children by focusing on developmentally appropriate games that include all children, foster self-responsibility, and nurture intrinsic motivation. This presentation will explain how to create and develop self-responsibility among students, increase their intrinsic motivation to participate in physical activities, and demonstrate how to change common playground games so that more children are involved and active.
