The purpose of Let’s Move Active Schools (LMAS) is to get students active before, during and after school. To maximize the probability new teachers will be confident delivering LMAS, a university created an assignment in student teaching based upon the LMAS steps: build support, assess your school/resources, develop an action plan, implement and reflect. This session will detail the assignment requirements, efficacy of the program and obstacles encountered. (CEU)
