Dance is a universal language and human phenomenon across all ages and cultures, and has enjoyed a natural "fit" within a variety of curriculums. Certainly, the ancient Greek Gods Apollo (the dancer) and Hermes (the gymnast) would endorse our NASPE standards of today regarding students as efficient movers. This session will teach an original piece of choreography that will include Levels I and II balance stunts, coupled with asymmetrical dance steps and hand held props. (CEU)
