Recent coach education literature has explored the developmental profiles of how coaches learn and acquire knowledge. (Wright, Trudel, & Culver, 2007). The purpose of this workshop is to apply Schon's theory of Reflective Practice as a theoretical framework for coach development. Schon differentiates between reflection in practice and reflection on practice (Schon, 1983). Session attendees will get strategies to develop both distinct types of reflection in order to continue their development as a coach. (CEU)
