Having previously investigated female coaches’ perspectives of their hiring experience as NCAA basketball coaches, another study was conducted investigating the males’ perspective. Male coaches’ insights on factors that influence the hiring of females in coaching positions will be highlighted. An open discussion regarding the implications of these results on the current employment landscape will expose attendees to current issues affecting female coaching applicants and possible methods for how to address them.
