It is suggested that students are active at least 50% of each physical education lesson. At the same time, physical educators are being asked to conduct assessments to document student learning. This may seem counterproductive, as most assessments are inefficient and decrease the amount of physical activity students accumulate. This active session, intended for K-12 physical educators, will introduce active means for conducting assessments in physical education. (CEU)
