Movement analysis software such as Dartfish can be used to enhance instruction and improve movement-based assessment in K-12 physical education classes or university physical activity courses. Whether using movement analysis software with a laptop or less expensive apps with portable devices (iPad, smartphone), instructors can use slow-motion replay of student performance during class, split-screen comparison of a pre and post skills test, or e-mail video clips to students for self-analysis.
