This session contains discussion on three primary areas: (1) grant writing in PE/health/recreation, (2) searching grants applicable to PE/health/recreation, and (3) managing awarded grants. Ideas, concepts, and successful measures will be presented in all three areas. Discussion includes local, state, and federal grants. Time is allotted for sharing of experiences and questions. The presentation focuses on providing attendees with key concepts and strategies to help them become more active and effective when it comes to external funding. (CEU)
