With many physical education programs incorporating dance, the question becomes how to include students who have diverse communication needs. One fun way to ensure effective instruction during dance activities is to use sign language as a method for communicating movement. This session will introduce key concepts and signs for using sign language as a creative and effective means for teaching various dance skills to diverse populations, including students who are deaf/hard of hearing.
