The National Standards for Sport Coaches provides direction for coaches and coach educators and can be used to assess coaching performance. This presentation addresses the eight domains of the standards and provides attendees with ways to apply the standards to assess individual coaches and programs. Using the national standards to positively impact coaching performance provides growth opportunities for all coaches. Areas of concern can be utilized to create a personal developmental plan and in-service workshops. (CEU)
