This session provides a detailed description of the use of iPads, SKYPE, FaceTime and remote microphones allowing university personnel to observe intern teachers in off-campus sites. Observation techniques, data collection protocols, intern teaching technology skills and mentor teacher training are included in the presentation. In addition, challenges to the process such as school internet access, privacy issues and administrative concerns will be addressed. (CEU)
