This session will highlight the development, structure, and future goals of a non-competitive running program offered to youth in a rural community. Presenters will address the unique structure of this running club which provides appeal to youth of all levels of fitness. More specifically, the psychological and physical benefits will be discussed with anecdotal evidence provided. Future research ideas will be communicated to provide efficacy of this free-of-charge program and its lifelong benefits. (CEU)
