This panel discussion will focus on strengthening research and scholarship in AAHPERD. Discussion topics will include: the importance of a research presence in AAHPERD, how can AAHPERD be meaningful to the research community, and strategies to help research remain a viable part of AAHPERD. Ideally, this session will generate audience involvement, ideas and strategies that will lead to an increased research community and presence within AAHPERD.
