Physical Education: Assessment
Intended Audience: Middle/High
Speaker: Jennifer E. Houston, Texas A&M University, San Antonio, San Antonio, TX
In this era of educational reform, physical education teachers need to hold our students accountable for more than just showing up, dressing out and participating with minimal effort. In order to decrease the marginalization of our subject matter, we as physical educators must not only accurately document our students’ learning outcomes, we must also provide quality physical education programs that are designed to promote student interest and engagement.
