This session will discuss what was learned from the first year of implementation of the Ohio Physical Education Assessments. The presentation will share perspectives on the assessments, assessment data, and curriculum. During the 2012-13 school year Ohio required all schools to assess each of the National Standards for Physical Education and report data to the Ohio Department of Education. Based on student assessment data, schools received a rating of high, moderate or low on the school's report card. (CEU)
