Special Olympics has developed an inclusive physical education curriculum called “Unified Sports PE”. Students with and without intellectual disabilities take this class to build sports skills, form new friendships and even attend local Special Olympics competitions! This workshop will provide participants all the necessary resources to take back to their schools. Additionally, discussion will include community and university partnerships as well as support for Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act through inclusive Special Olympics programming. (CEU)
