Today’s physical educators are expected to support the common core initiative in their classrooms. Designed for the K-12 physical educator, this session will focus on using various technologies in physical education to address the common core while still achieving the primary goal of physical education, developing a physically educated individual. Through introduction of activity and assessment strategies, participants will work hands-on with technologies, including GPS, fitness monitors with GPS and footpod technology and iPad/iPod applications.
